Rebranding & Website Redesign for Brame

Creating a unified brand and web presence for an enterprise gamification platform
Introduction
Brame (short for Branded Game) is a Swiss gamification startup that helps enterprise clients engage their consumers through branded games. In 2022, they aimed to strengthen their market position and stand alongside top competitors, which meant creating a website and visual identity that felt more polished and professional.

I was first hired as a freelancer to redesign their website. Partway through the project, they offered me a full-time role and invited me to their Switzerland office to collaborate in person. During that visit, we refined the imagery and defined the new brand direction, laying the groundwork for a full rebrand alongside the site launch.
My Role
I led Brame’s rebrand from concept to execution, creating a visual identity that conveyed enterprise credibility while reflecting the energy of their gamification platform. I built the brand’s foundation with a versatile color palette, modern typography, and custom illustrations, then documented it all in brand guidelines for consistent use across channels. I redesigned the marketing site for clarity and usability, advised the product team on UX, and developed a full suite of marketing collateral in English and German for events, print, and digital campaigns.

Thankfully, the stakeholders chose a full redesign and new development. The only elements they wanted to retain were the logo and the use of green as a brand color. In the new design, I simplified the logo to a wordmark for greater flexibility and prominence.

The green shifted to a richer forest tone for accessibility and a more premium feel, paired with colorful accents and approachable typography inspired by gaming aesthetics. These changes gave the site a more cohesive, market-ready presence.

Part of the challenge with any SaaS company website is deciding how best to showcase the product. Stock images can feel impersonal, and often the software itself is functional but not yet visually polished. My solution was to use illustrations to bridge that gap.

This redesign not only modernized Brame’s visual identity but also created a scalable foundation for future growth, ensuring their platform can continue to engage enterprise clients and end users alike.
